The site is mainly flat HTML. However there is also a section that is a seperate template within a WordPress installation. This allow Off The Cuff to add stories and edit content themselves.

Making use of HTML, JavaScript, PHP and mySQL this site provides functionality to plot a route, save the route and share the route with friends.

MudMaps also shows the elevation profile as well as the total ascent of the route. This site also made extensive use of the Google API for the maps and the elevation graph.

It is also possible to load a route from a GPX file saved from a GPS, as well as exporting a route to a GPX format to load onto a GPS.
